Last week I went to First Friday at the Denver Art District. One of the galleries opened up through all the workspace and I saw this posted on the wall there.
"Fear Eats the Soul," I wonder what thing I would do in my life if I didn't allow fear to get in the way. Fear of the unknown, fear of failure, fear of humiliation and embarrassment, but I'm sick of letting fear keep me from progressing, from stretching myself and finding what I am capable of.
It first made me think about how important our surroundings are, what they remind us of, and how we are affected by our environment. Right now I have this as my desktop background:
I keep it as a little reminder to myself not to give up on those around me.
